The Durham Art Guild and Student U present 'Brought to Life,' an exhibition of art created by local high-school students in collaboration with artist mentors. A public celebration reception will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Room 100 Gallery at Golden Belt in Durham.

The Durham Art Guild presents "Imaginary Realms of Life and Death" featuring new ceramic sculptures by DAG member artist Gabriela Rozenberg. This collection of ceramic sculptures represent the imaginary places and creatures that the artist created to find whimsical ways to cope with death...and life.

The Durham Art Guild presents the 2018 Members' Showcase in SunTrust Gallery from April 6 - June 9, 2018. This year's exhibition features a diverse array of work by 115 regional member artists. We are very excited that this is a record turn-out for this show in the last 6 years!

The Durham Art Guild presents "Journey to The Good Life," featuring DAG member artist Kulsum Tasnif. This exhibition tells the story of migrants and refugees in various phases of their lives. Through the use of cultural patterns, illustrations, Arabic calligraphy, and audio accounts, her work strives to connect the audience with the universal human struggle of loss, pain, and the basic need for survival.

The Durham Art Guild presents "I was a kid" featuring new paintings and clothing by DAG member artist Marcela Slade.
I was a kid is a series of Expressionist small and large acrylic paintings on canvas conveying the artist’s experience with rape as a child and others that relate or evolved from that experience. Slade wants to raise awareness in our community and help others share their voices in order to heal.
